ActionBase Fireworks at Lviv Arena Stadium Opening

Our company is proud to make the engineering contribution to the development of the modern technologies and embedded software/hardware in Ukraine. Participating in the events of state significance, within the framework of preparation to UEFA EURO 2012 football championship, proves reliability and safety of the embedded systems we develop.  

At the end of October our engineers came to Lviv to assist in installing ActionBase system  for the opening ceremony of Arena Lviv stadium. Currently, it is one of the newest stadiums in Europe. It will host three Euro 2012 group matches in June.

         The opening ceremony of the Stadium took place on October 29. The grand pyromusical show was organized for more than 30,000 visitors by Didzhereffects company on the basis of ActionBase Fireworks equipment, designed and implemented by Edgewood Services engineers. The laser show and theatrical performance, in which 2000 actors performed the episodes of the glorious Lviv city history, amused the audience. Our company is glad to acknowledge that embedded solutions in combination with pyrotechnic art bring joy and excitement to people!

         ActionBase Fireworks at the Opening Ceremony of Kyiv Olympic Stadium

Edgewood Services’ engineers had the honor to participate in the opening ceremony of Kyiv Olympic Stadium built for the Uefa Euro 2012 final. Together with pyrotechnists from Didzhereffects company, we organized fantastic fireworks show using ActionBase Fireworks system, a hardware-software complex designed by our developers.  About 60 000 viewers enjoyed this spectacular show!     

The opening ceremony took place on October 8, 2011. The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, government leaders, sports stars, football clubs owners and other VIP guests attended this solemn event.

A large team of professionals worked to create spectacular fireworks displays, organized with the help of latest computer technologies. Our engineers consulted and helped to install the ActionBase Fireworks system – hardware and software complex, designed especially for the large-scale shows. This system allows not only to create original fireworks scenarios in sync with music. It also gives opportunity to view the future fireworks in real-time, showing broad panorama of the area on the screen of PC. Thus, the opening ceremony on the stadium ended with a complex pyrotechnic show over the heads of excited audience.  

Euro 2012 Football Championship. The great opening of the Euro 2012  will be held in Warsaw (Poland) while the final will take place in Kiev (Ukraine). As it widely known, this tournament will be co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland from June 8, till July 1, 2012. This tournament will be the third competition in the European football history organized by two countries. It is expected that during the Euro 2012 from 800 thousand to 1.4 million tourists will visit Ukraine.
